I am currently available to teach private lessons in Portland, OR. My primary specialty is Composition and I can also teach lessons in Music Theory and Piano. I am open to teaching any level from beginner to advanced so if you are interested I'd be glad to hear from you!

With regards to composition and theory, I am well versed in the different branches of the western classical and modernist tradition. My personal interests are oriented towards counterpoint, set-theory, and 12-tone.

As a performer, I have studied piano, keyboard percussion, and organ. My primary interest as a performer is baroque and modern organ repertoire. I also enjoy working with ensembles, the creativity of interpretation, and implementing music theory into performance practice.
